I'm putting my money where my mouth is and adding yet another RSS-based application to my to-do list. I recently registered a special domain name and plan to use Morfik.com's new JST (Javascript Synthesis Technology) web-builder app to create a suite of web-server based, AJAX applications, some of which will be RSS based. I'll be writing about these applications, and actually be stepping through each of them in detail in the future so that web developers that want to build RSS-based apps can get some details. I will also blog about the marketing and analysis aspects of these JST-based apps. JST, by the way, is a brilliant way to develop web apps. You use a drag-and-drop interface similar to other visual studio programming IDEs (Integrated Development Environment). Once you design/write an app, you can then compile it into an AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript and XML) engine, which should be able to run on pretty much any webserver. JST is still in pre-beta. A copy of the pre-beta is being made to "pioneers" (go register at Morfik.com) on Dec 9. Which is nice, as the beta won't be available until March 2006. So keep an eye out on this blog for some development notes by late December or early January. (c) Copyright: 2005-present, Raj Kumar Dash, http://www.chameleonintegration.com/ Comments
