Content Syndication Is Changing Content Distribution Business Models

Terry Heaton has an excellent article (links below) about how content publishers will be forced to rethink their business models for content distribution, or face competition from unexpected sources.

Included in the article is a detailed discussion of bundled and unbundled content, and suggestions on smart aggregators, appropriate new content delivery business models, what role ads in feeds play, and the future of such ads.

If you are a content publisher using RSS/ Atom/ web feeds, this is a must-read article.
