Several websites and blogs report that Yahoo is integrating their free-mail system with RSS feeds. No doubt, others such as Google (GMail) and Microsoft (Hotmail) will do the same. (Yours truly plans to do this with with WebFeedMail, which will not only serve virtual RSS feeds, but also virtual email feeds.) This email/web feeds integration is an excellent idea, but publishers still need to hit site visitors over the head with the reminders of the existence of web feeds. Promotion is key to increasing the web feeds user base. (c) Copyright: 2005-present, Raj Kumar Dash, http://www.chameleonintegration.com Comments
