View incorporates videos in innovative ways and recently won a number of awards, including the "2005-6 US Battten Award for Innovations in Journalism". There's a story on the site about UK newspaper journalists using video cameras. Here's the sub-headline for the story, which ties in to my last post: "Declining sales figures, increasing pressure from multimedia news deliveries, citizen journalism, Philip Meyer's assertion that newspapers are heading towards redundancy, and the BBC's plans of introducing a new more localised form of news in the regions. What do you do if you're a newspaper publisher?" View magazine is interesting as is, but could do with a prominent web feed. Their blogspot.com blog has one, but the entries don't link to the main website. Still, it's a site that should be checked out by, as they say, "vloggers, broadbandcasters, broadcasters, educationists, students" and more. They might just be the sign of the Internet expeience to come. Links/ Sources: View Magazine - 8 Days. Hello Raj Thanks for the shout and critique. I'll fix the links on the blog back to the main site. It's been a labour of lust really, as by day like many other netizens I am back at the office on the day job, so the odd thing eludes me here and there. Herein, notifying me is the power of the blog. The site is predicated on the art of videojournalism: one person being able to film, produce, report and build sites around those. There are some interesting things coming up. From a marketing angle, some work I did with Viacom UK a while back looking at XTP ( Cross track Projections) on the subway, plus outdoor internet wide sites, coined as The Outernet. I'll post those up as time allows. Thanks once again Thanks for the update, David. I'll keep an eye out on your site. 1. In Gods Hands 4:08 5.10 Mb 2.
